We have had some wild weather up here recently on the North Coast – you can read all about it on Alan’s blog. And we thought we had more extreme weather in Switzerland!
We have been very generously given the keys of a friend’s caravan near Benone Strand. Today was our day off and it was a warm sunny day so we drove to Benone (just 15 minutes from home) which has a beautiful golden strand spanning 11 kms. Alan ran on it, I walked on it, and then we recovered over a cuppa in our friend’s caravan, while catching up on some reading. A good way to spend a day off!
We have moved from a beautiful part of the world to another beautiful part of the world – from the majestic mountains and lakes of Switzerland to the breathtaking scenery of the Causeway Coast. Anyone who knows me well will know that I am an amateur photographer. Anyone who knows me really well will know that I love the sea. So living so close to the sea affords me opportunities to take lots of photos of this wonderful coastline on the North Coast of N.Ireland!
The photograph on the top of my blog was taken by me at White Park Bay, not far from where we live and not far from the famous Giant’s Causeway, pictured here.
